Thank you so much! Went for a ride yesterday after getting my lowering kit on and it was such a wonderful experience. I'm 58 years old and 5 ft. Been riding this 650R for 3 yrs with just the toes of my boots touching the ground. My bike is an '07 so I've done research for years until I found your kit. Everyone kept telling me if you lower it that it will change the ride and, ect. Being vertically challenged you are constantly having to think about where you are going to stop and which foot to put down. Is the ground level or is it leaning. I've dropped it twice, but grateful I was stopped both times. This last time I was on unlevel ground and put the wrong foot down and I said," That's it getting this thing lowered." I had already had yours in mind so placed the order and received such fast service. Very impressed with the quality of your work. Your kit has totally changed my ride. Puts a smile on my face every time I stop!!! I'm sending you a big ole hug and sloppy kisses from an old grandmaw that still loves to ride Southern style. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
THANKS, Sheila
Dear Sirs:
I recently purchased a lowering kit, mirror extenders, and the "flat-foot" for my 2008 Versys. I want to commend you on an exceptional product(s). May I say I was very impressed with the quality of your products and in particular, the lowering kit. From ease of installation to spot on machining to even the on-line instructions ... everything was perfect. I have worked on/modified many motorcycles and even built a few dune buggies. It seems that with many aftermarket parts some modification is needed to make them fit. Not so with your product ... dare I say fitment was on par or even better than OEM. I am enjoying the bike much more and have developed more confidence in more aggressive riding since my center of gravity is now lower. Thank you for offering such quality in your line of parts. I will always recommend your products.
Thanks again,
Charles W. Florida, USA
Just had my lowering kit installed. I'm 5'8" and was on my tippy toes at every stop - even with 1 inch soles and 2 inch heels. Now I'm flat footed and lovin' the V even more (didn't think it was possible). So if your thinking about it, stop! Go order Speedy's kit. You won't regret it.

Just to say thanks to you for the prompt delivery to me in the UK . Got my footpeg lowers an hour ago . They are now fitted and the gear lever adjusted . As I came from an FJR the leg room on the Versys was cramped until I fitted the lowers and best of all the strange position that Kawasaki put the rear brake in is without adjustment just where I want it now. Great product and well designed

Hi Speedy,
Just received my wifes lowering kit for ER-6N, not fitted yet but just wanted to say how impressed I am with the quality and finish. As an engineer myself I appreciate a well engineered job, looks great, surface ground, chamfered all round - Excellent.
Keep up the good work.
Regards
Craig
Just wanted to say that Speedy runs a great operation, and I look forward to doing business with him in the future. We ordered his more than reasonably priced kit, and we had it at our house in < 3 days. There were excellent instructions online, and he was very responsive to all my PM's. It's nice to know there are people/businesses out there that put customer service before their bottom line and manage to make a great product while doing so.
Thanks Speedy,
Very happy customer!

Speedy, received my lowering kit a few days ago. couldn't decide whether to leave it on the mantle next to the clock or if I should install it after all. this is a thing of beauty. finally installed it and am a very happy customer.

Speedy,
I just wanted to thank you again for sending me new extenders that completely fixed my problem.
I put them on late last week, and ended up using the regular set-up on the right mirror and the new extender/old bolt/aluminum collar set-up on the left side. It all worked flawlessly. The better view I have is exactly what I expected it would be. Once again that you for taking care of me and going way above and beyond what I could have expected. Hats off to you sir!

Hi Speedy & Bea
Just a note to say a BIG THANKYOU for sending my ER6 lowering kit so fast. It arrived today in the UK, not bad considering the distance, i don't receive goods that quick from my own country!!! I will certainly reccomend you to my friends. Again a big thankyou.
Kind Regards

I am just the rider (and a new one at that)……but I cannot tell you what confidence I immediately felt after my husband installed the new lowering kit!!! Went for my first ride yesterday and it felt like I have been riding my bike for years!!! Thank you, thank you!!!. I must also add that my husband was very impressed with the quality of the part, packaging and detailed directions that accompanied our order. Kudos to Motowerks!

Just received the package you shipped on March 5th to Zagreb, Croatia. Did not get the time to mount it, but mirror extenders and lowering footpeg blocks for Kawasaki Versys look awesome. I am very happy now. What really made my day was the attached card from you nice people.
I wish you all the best,
Zoran
Just to say thanks ordered Versys lowering kit easy to fit and does the job perfect, and for speed of which I received it.
Many thanx
Darren P, UK
I received my order. Your products fitted and worked just fine in my Versys.
Your Thank You note and the handwriting Spanish was a good surprise. I have bought many things in the States on line and it’s the first personal ‘thank you’ I receive. That says a lot. Nice having business with you.
Regards,
Antonio, Spain
Thanks so much guys for my ER6-N lowering kit! My boyfriend and I installed it with no problems. Your instructions rock! I can now put my feet flat on the ground. What a difference! Got your flatfoot, too. Can't say enough about your mods. What else are you going to make for ER6/Ninja 650R?

I recently bought some V35 Givi side panniers and installed them onto the Versys. All was hunky dory until my 10 year old daughter went pillion with the panniers in place. Basically her legs would not reach the pillion footpegs in comfort, her leg was also pinched between the frame, pannier and my rear end!
Good news to report. The pegs arrived today. As per the photos, these are a great product, very simple and bullet proof as suspected. After installation which took less than 5 minutes (it was basically 4 allen key bolts, 2 per peg), we went for a spin for 30 minutes with panniers and daughter in place! Problem solved, no pinched legs, nice ride position for my daughter so she was still safe and my riding position was uncompromised. BlackCat, U.K.
Yesterday I went out for a very cool (40°F) ride. When I came home there was a package from Speedy…the lowering pegs that I ordered. Today I installed them and spent all afternoon riding (58°F). The lower peg position changed my riding geometry and made the Versys more comfortable to ride. I was a good 1-1/2 hrs into the ride before I got off for a stretch and I had very little back side pain.
Jerry, Colorado
Thanks for the fast shipping, lowering pegs arrived & installed. The ride is more comfortable now. Thanx for the card, best wishes to you. Paolo, Italy
Yes !!! Mirror Extenders are a "must have" at the Versys.
After installing them you see the first time what happening behind you and not only watching your shoulders in the mirrors.
Gerd, Germany
I just got Speedy's lowering foot pegs blocks today. Very fast service!! They fit perfectly, and look good. They do everything Speedy says they do. The best part is they don't change the distance between your foot and the shift lever or brake lever, so the geometry or what ever does not change, and shifting is not affected at all.
I only had to lower my shifter and brake lever about 3/8th's of an inch to put them back in the spot I need them to be for me. If you are wanting to lower your foot and give your knees a break these are the ones to get IMO. I'm not affiliated in any way, just very happy with this product. I think you all will be as well.

Hi Speedy,
First, I must apologize for not contacting you sooner. I promised myself I would give you positive feedback as I believe if a person or product is worthy of praise then why not give it, conversely if an item or job is not good then no feedback will leave the offending party in blissful ignorance with no reason to improve their service. Regards to the WR Lowering Kit, it arrived within 6 days of ordering having traveled several thousand miles, so no problems with US/UK trading. I had downloaded the installation instructions from your Internet site, got the axel stands and tools ready in advance and had the lowering kit fitted within 30 mins of it being delivered including modifying my rear Hugger. The Hugger used the same rear M-6 screw that secures the wire retainer to the swing arm so I cut that small section of the hugger away with a hacksaw. This does not present a problem if you have a hugger fitted as is also well secured further down the swingarm. When it came to cutting the kickstand to fit the flatfoot again this was only minutes to do however I do admit to thinking I may have messed up as the flatfoot initially rested on the floor at an angle. Common sense prevailed and twisting the flatfoot on the kickstand leg corrected this within seconds. The last part of the purchased kit was the mirror extenders, easy to fit and work like a dream. These should be a standard part on this bike or Kawasaki need to review the choice of OE mirrors fitted. I would like to thank you for both the standard of product and general service provided and would urge anyone with a seat height problem to forget changing your seat, buy this kit instead. I am a more confident rider now the bike fits me plus I can see both front and rear and the bike now feels stable and no longer hops when I use the stand.

Hello Speedy,
I've just installed your WR Lowering Kit on my ABS bike.
Brilliant product, easy to install, excellent fit.
Thank you,
Tom, U.K.
Speedy, brilliant stuff, very good website and good clear instructions!
Many thanks,

I installed Speedy's lowering kit this morning and here is my opinion. I rode the bike 50 miles on the twisties before installation. I rode the bike 75 miles on the twisties and interstate after installation. First of all the kit was very easy to install and the directions that Speedy supplied were very easy to understand and accurate. I also dropped the front 7/8 in. I feel the bike handles better and I can run it into the turns and accelerate out much better. I feel like I am more positioned in the bike instead of on top of the bike. I can sit flatfooted and back the bike much easier. It is true that the bike suspension is a tad softer than before but I can run it into a corner on the softest setting and feel in control not like before where the bike wandered somewhat on the softest setting. The one piece design is great, quality, fit, finish all great! I also cut the kickstand and installed the Flatfoot that I got form Speedy and it is awesome as well. Thanks Speedy for your labor of FUN! I didn't need a chain adjustment. It is advisable to have a helper. Be careful dropping the front forks take it a little at a time from side to side. 45 minutes total time and you’re done.

two words of thanks are needed here

2nd to Speedy for making the lowering kit. it is a excellent piece of engineering, very well made and a precision fit. It came with full detailed fitting instructions and a optional stand modification. I am from a engineering background [but now without the machinery] and this part is made to the highest standard.keep up the good work Speedy.
That really is a thing of beauty - top job mate.
FallenNinja, U.K.
The kit arrived today. Took 2 hours to fit including modifying the Ermax hugger, dropping the forks and shortening the side stand. The stand was easy thanks to your custom replacement stand foot, anodized black to match the stand. All the dimensions of the kit were perfect - and excellent piece of kit all round. I have ridden the bike and it handles just as well if not better and I can now get both feet flat on the ground! : No more tippy toeing!

My kit arrived Tuesday. The instructions in the e-mail were very easy to follow. 45 mins later the link was on and the kickstand was shortened. I had already slipped my front forks about 1" about a month ago. Now I no longer slide to the front of the seat. I can get the front of my feet down, my heels are still about 1/2" off the ground, no problems. The major benefit to me is in backing the bike, I have much more traction. Thanks Speedy.
Yellowdog46, Texas
Well,
thanks a lot, the kit looks better on the bike than in pictures, and it even works . It took me about 1 hr or less to install the kit, cut the stand, and lower the forks. Oh, I think I spent couple minutes catching my breath after I caught the bike There was an important mention in instructions, make sure the bike is stable when installing the kit...well, it used to be stable, but with the sun hitting right onto those plastic buckets, after I finished to cut the stand the bike slowly started to fall down. It ended on a happy note though, kit installed, bike in one piece.

Hi Speedy. I lost balance of the bike twice when stationary due to the height of the seat and I am inseam 29" Couldn't get both feet to control the bike properly. Got your lowering kit and flatfoot installed and I am really happy with the results. I can now control the bike much better now with the lowererd seat. Thanks for designing the product.
ironhorse
I just had the lowering kit put on my V, along w/dropping the front end. Added the foot on the shortened kickstand, as well. Great results, w/very nice products. Kudos!

I know I have posted this elsewhere but I just wanted to say a big thankyou to speedy for taking the time to design / make and ship great product.

Put over 2000 miles on my Speedy foot stand last 7days. Plus I had to stand on foot peg to mount bike, rather than the ground ('coz of my gammy knee) and its flawless, being pivoted as alexp206 mentions, it doesn't get stressed at strange angles.

Speedy mate, thanks again from UK
Received the sets yesterday and sent them on their merry ways, even nicer in the flesh, so to speak, lightweight, but very durable, very well anodized, that should last much longer than powder-coating, the spring looks just right and should give a good life without the foot coming loose
Dilbert, U.K.
I have a set of mirror extenders and can vouch for their quality and utility, they work great and I wouldn't be without them now.
Machog, Washington
Just a quick line. Just got a pair of Speedy's mirror extenderds.Really pleased with them .His workmanship is 1st class. Silverfox, U.K.
I've received my GPS mount from Speedy Gonzalez, a true masterpiece!!!

Another happy camper here too SpeedyG. Got mine on Friday, but was away all weekend so have only assembled, not fitted.Looks great, can't wait to mount GPS and fit to bike. Thanks man, keep the custom accessories a comin'
Cynic64, New Zealand
I installed mine over the weekend and it works great! The Speedy bracket installed easily in not much time. I spent a bunch of extra time adding a separate fuse box and running the GPS wire, so my overall time was a few hours. I also popped the Flat Foot on, so now I am totally Speedy-fied. Pictures... one of these days.
Alan
I can testify for the mirror extenders, they are adjustable, and do not increase the vibrations, actually the left one seems to vibrate less.
Oh, and they look awesome
Allriding, Canada
Received and installed mine yesterday. Amazing piece of work you created Speedy! Definitely don't need to include instructions. Only thing I would recommend is, as with all things on the bike, use Loctite on all the screws. Here's some pics with my Zumo 550 installed. Thanks again for your amazing creations Speedy!!!
Tim, Washington
Got mine yesterday, took a bit to drill the holes...made one mistake by less than a mm no big deal. All bolted up and looks FANTASTIC. Puts the GPS right in line of the gauges for eye level scanning! What's better, with the GPS security screw locked down and the screen back on, no one is going to take the GPS off the bike without some major time, noise and effort!
Marc11
Mines here too, thanks very much , its the best bit of kit I’ve bought for a long time.
Fast
many thanks for sending over the items ordered so promptly. rcvd package yesterday afternoon. will be passing them over to my friends this weekend for installation.

Hi Speedy,
As you know I bought one of your GPS mounts on another forum. I have installed it and it looks and works great. (No pictures yet because I am still working on the wiring.) Great job on the bracket.
Wordguy, Massachusetts
Just throwing Speedy a bone here.... Love the mount brother (and the flat-foot & mirror extenders.) You sir, are a gem!
MackDaddy, Ohio
Hey Speedy,
Just wanted to add my voice to all the ones already thanking you for making a great product. I just installed my flat foot today. I don't have a height issue but hated watching the bike supported by a thin stand. Now there is no more dragging of the stand as the bike settles into place. It has a secure footing.
Thanks!
Boogie, Nova Scotia Canada
Hi Speedy,
Just received your package today, the lowering kit is fantastic.
I no longer need to wear my custom made 3" sole boots.
I had lowered my forks in anticipation. The assembling of the lowering kit and the flatfooot was easy and fast great product and great customer service, thank you Speedy.
Fernando, Canada
Hey Speedy. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning waiting on that lowering kit. Your GPS mount was Great. Easy to install.
golfmuch, Alabama
Took delivery of my mirror extenders & BigFoot yesterday. Phenomenal craftsmanship my friend. Thank you so much! Put me in line for a set of foot peg lowering blocks, radiator cover & skidplate if these ever come to fruition.
Jim, Ohio
Lowering kit came in last night. Already on. Perfect. I was worried it would be too low but it fit me perfect. raised the spring to 4 th level. works perfect
golfmuch, Alabama
Speedy,
Just put you your lowering kit on last night and all I can say is wow. it drops the bike down to where I feel comfortable holding it when I stop now. I also lowered the front forks 1/2 inch and the bike rides great. I took some before and after pictures of me holding the bike. I am 5'7 tall and you can see the difference in my stance.
ScottMD, Maryland
I love my black flatfoot Speedy thanks.
Baddone, Georgia
I Just installed Speedy's Lowering kit last night. I must say the quality of the piece is remarkable, and the installation was a breeze. Took me about 45 minutes or so to install the kit and about 10 minutes to lower the front forks. WOW, it's sure nice to be able to touch at least one foot flat on the ground.
Kawaclay, Oregon
I installed my GPS mount....excellent! I'll post pics later. Camera battery is dead.
Hooligan, Georgia
Installed my lowered flatfoot today and it fit perfectly. Thanks Speedy.
Brother Verse Us, Canada
Installed my lowering kit last night and it's great. Installation was a breeze - explicit instructions emailed ahead of time made it easy. My 32" inseam now is flat footed w/ room to spare. Now I've just got to save up for a GPS & order the mount.
PharmaSyst, Arkansas
Installed my lowering kit yesterday and put 80 miles on it this morning amongst the semi-twisties. The wonderfully tight steering I gained by lowering the front seems negated, but otherwise I sense little overall change to the bike's behavior. I'll take that for being able to get one foot flat on the ground at stops. Big props to "Speedy" for creating a very well-designed kit with excellent directions!
